The size was only 26GB so its nothing major but the upload time took like 1-2 days and another day for it to become 4k

Wow! But I don’t understand. Why did it take “another day“ to become 4K? Does it upload 4K in two segments? I have a Mavic mini so I don‘t have 4K. I’m confused!

When you first post on You Tube it uploads all the Formats , first 360 than 720 than 1080 and being that this was such a large file he uploaded took a full day to get to 4K .
