Here is a video I took at Hakone, Japan earlier this month on a solo trip, hope you enjoy!
Japan flying experience:
- Don't trust the built-in no fly zone in DJI Go app
- For Japan no fly zone, please refer to here which is the official no-fly zone of Japanese government
- Basically you can't fly in any urban area or densely populated area
- But for Tokyo, you can still find reasonably convenient places to fly like Hakone (famous for hot spring and luckily you can see Mt. Fuji at Lake Ashi there) and the famous Fuji Five Lakes area
- Japanese living in suburb doesn't have good command in English, they are nice and some of them will be curious about your flight, but occasionally they will stop you from flying very politely with gestures (like pointing at your drone & making a cross sign)
