Cool idea, but way too expensive for what is really just a $20 external battery pack with modifications necessary to charge DJI batteries.

That is true except its a big pack that can charge 3 Mavic batteries, which doubles my flying time when i'm not near an AC power outlet. Also it charges 2 at one time, so it doubles as an AC charger that does 2 batteries. $20 or $80 external battery pack can not do that.

Yes I agree 2 more batteries would be ligher and about the same price and get you almost the same flight time.
