I walk at Cleland Conservation Park quite a lot, including Perimeter Tk around the wildlife park.
A good team in there, 20 years ago I used to take visitors bushwalking in the overall park, and take them to Cleland Wildlife Pk for 3hr or so visits after a bush lunch.
Great research they are developing, with far reaching applications for all species too.
Drones are amazing. They are changing so many aspects of animal research. Here's the page of a group that uses a drone nicknamed 'SnotBot' to take DNA and hormone samples from the 'snot' that whales blow out through their blowholes.
