Is there something new as of Fall 2021 brewing here in the US in terms of regulating drones?

Several posts already on what the FAA and other DC bureaucrats are whining about, esp with issues with China and DJI being a Chinese Tech Company. Most of what is being spewed is crazy and comparing DJI and drone info to Huawei who makes routers / switches / and other network devices is insane.

One guy seems to want to take DJI completely out of the drone market for the US - government purchases and the rec / business community as well.

Hopefully all pilots and esp those that own DJI drones will send nastygrams to these fools to let them know they have zero clue as to what they are talking about and that since we already own DJI drones - they are way off base with their wild accusations.

That article was published back in May and was widely discussed at the time. There is no new FAA initiative on this at present.
