Several of them for hours. Stupidity around the world knows no bounds.

Some are blaming the Russians.

Or maybe it's just regular KLM airliners on approach looking for the runway and the ATC mistook them for drones like we do here in the US, perhaps?

Russian drones, huh? Military drones dont have flashing navigation lights.......they dont advertise their approach. Consumer drones have fixed navigation lights which neither flash or rotate. Whatever these are, they are terrestrial for sure, very likely taking off locally, and it wouldnt surprise me if this is nothing more than a concerted effort by the EU to build the narrative that we are all under threat from Russia. Look at it another way. If they were so concerned over these apparent sightings, theyd have every police and military helicopter up in the air tracking these things. With the tracking capabilities of todays aviation and military, theres no way they could fail to identify and trace them to their origin......
unless they didnt want to.
