Drones "Spying" on New Jersey.

Not for me. There is not a chance that someone in our military doesn't know exactly what these are.
Right. There is no dispute. Many high ranking military officers have recently stepped forward and said we have drones flying over sensitive military sites on a regular basis and we do not have the ability to track or determine where they came from. But they know for sure they are drones.

Where's the evidence that any of the things sighted were actually drones?
See a a light in the sky and it's automatically assumed to be a drone.

Not enough for you to take their word?

Absolutely Jim I also don't believe they are telling the whole truth and I've said it many pages back that not only do they know more about what is going on than they are telling us but also military officials have said these are indeed drones. I believe that part and honestly, Americans should believe it too rather than believing these are Southwest Airlines planes circling the military bases or it's Jupiter making an early rise in the late even sky that forces fighter jets to evacuate or these are huge "lanterns" from local celebrations that seem to hover for hours over people's homes.

But I get it, sometimes it's hard to know which nonsense to believe. And for some, it's a whole lot easier to simply do nothing and believe "none of the above" until we have answers that everybody can comfortably live with even though that could be mean years or decades....or never.

I see we are prepared to f* around and find out.

Many ??
A small number of military brass have suggested this.
But none have provided a shred of evidence for their claims.
Just because they are high ranking officers doesn't mean they are immune to irrational paranoia or that they don't have other reasons to encourage paranoia in the general population.
Where's any evidence ??

Since the military has enough information to classify them as drones, why can't they track them to where are they coming from, where to they go back to?
It's obviously somewhere within the US.
How can anyone be sure they are drones when no-one has seen them close enough to make out any details?
If they are drones and spying, why send a "swarm" of them?

If I did not know you better Id say you were pulling my leg. The Commander of NORAD and the Langley AF Base Commander are paranoiacs in charge of North American Air Defense and 40 F-22 Raptors (@300 million per copy) but their eyewitness accounts of unidentified drones flying over the airbase cannot be trusted?

Let us just say you are correct. NORAD does not know a drone from a hole in the ground. Nor does the General, Base Commander, and former F-15 pilot who said he observed drones fly over Langley for 17 days straight from the roof of a building. Does that make you feel more or less secure?

On the road from the City of Skepticism, I had to pass through the Valley of Ambiguity.

I have no information to show that he's been able to identify actual drones, rather than some unidentified dot on a screen or a light in the sky. His rank and role doesn't preclude him from being subject to the paranoia that is common in regard to this issue.

I feel completely secure, but I'm not confident that some base commander actually saw and identified actual drones either.
Where's any evidence rather than some guy thinks that drones have been buzzing around?

Some guy? You mean NORAD Commander, 4 star AF General, Langley AF Base Commander, and Chairman of the Armed Services Committee?

There are two rules in life. #1 is never give out all the information.

Fancy that !
There are uninformed people out there offering opinions on things they know nothing about.
OT

This post struck a nerve.

Today I had a coworker try to school me about a subject she learned while getting her degree. That would have been fine but the subject matter has been my career for 40 years. She thinks she knows more than I do on the subject.

Are you using "coworker" as a euphemism for "spouse?" If so but you cant talk now just give thumbs up. PS if so, been there done that.

I am not speaking of my dearly departed spouse.

She's still breathing but she's dead to me.

Okay well my apology for bringing it up. There must be quite a story there. But we must not dwell on the negative because its Friday night after all! I'm heading into the weekend fired up and loaded for bear...
