editing of videos

hi peeps
im new to these forums ive looked around and havnt found anything on what software people are using to edit there vids.
i have ae mavic air and dont like the fact that you can only do short vids as i use my drone for following me and my mates on dirt bikes and really want to make a good size vid of some of the rides we go on.
so im looking for some software to down load that dosnt invole having to get a loan to pay for.
