Hello!

This is newest movie presenting the famous Evangelia shipwreck which was intentionally failed on the Black Sea coast near Costinești on 15th of October 1968.
The ship was last owned by Aristotel Socrates Onassis.
Now it's the home of hundreds of seagulls until the force of the Black Sea winter storms will destroy it.

Nicely shot, mini 2 did an excellent job too.
Quite a few seagulls got close !

Was interested in the damage, looked like a boiler explosion, but a quick google stated it ran aground.
(Although there was suspicion about it being possible insurance fraud too.)

In 1945, this ship interestingly stopped at local South Australian ports of Port Pirie, and Port Lincoln, probably picking up lead and / or grain from those ports to take back to the UK.
That was it's big run (UK to Australia) via Panama through that period, stopping at varied posts around Australia and other locations worldwide en route.

Nicely flown! Interesting history.

Thank you. The seagulls were so close!

There was definitely insurance fraud. The insurance company never paid because they talked with the crew of the ship that first rescued the Evangelia and left it floating and after one night they have found it failed again on sand.

The extensive damage is only due to weather. The winter storms are quite bad here!
