Extend path to ground

I got my flight path KML from Air data to Google Earth it displays the path on screan so far it ok.
Now l want to get altitude curtain to drop down to ground.
When l right click(this is on Mac)
the in sidebar on air data there is add and path option on path option l have New Path window in altitude tab it doesn't show any data.
At this point l have no idea how to proceed to extend path to ground.
I would be very grateful if someone of you very knowledgeable people can walk me through it. Also have no idea what link l should add in description tab, whatever l put there produces no response.

There's a much easier way than messing around in the sidebar looking for the right path. Just right click on the flight path in the main window:



Choose "Get Info" (or "Properties" if you are running Windows)



Under the altitude tab choose "Extend path to ground" and then go to the "Style, Color" tab:



Choose "Filled" rather than "Filled + outlined" and set the opacity to around 55%.
