Extended Flight Distance Detected

I often get this message on my M2P: "Extended flight distance detected," followed by a warning about flying within visual line of sight. The thing is, this always occurs while the A/C is still sitting on the ground - before takeoff. Doesn't seem to affect the subsequent flight. Anyone else seen this warning?

I've seen this, only once or twice, but it's always when I have indeed been quite a ways off (but not really too far, since I'm not to type to press the distance thing).

Quite possible. I'll try to determine that.
Later: Yes, home point comes after this warning message. Still unclear why it pops up at all, but perhaps I can just ignore it...

I know this is late, however mine has done this a few times, usually if I've had a fly, chucked it innthe car and driven up the road 5 or 10 km or so and started it back up, I'm assuming as it's getting GPS signal it's thinking, **** I'm pretty far away from where I was.
