FAA Hobbyist registration extended

WOW-ZA!!! As my 3-yr registration expires next month, I logged onto my FAA account - and - my registration now shows expiration in 2020! (I don't think the're ready, administratively, to re-register half the planet ;-)
If your registration is expiring in the next few months, log into your FAA account, and be pleasantly surprised....

Has something to do with when they first initiated that program, then it was canceled, then reimplemented. All that were registered prior to its cancellation, got extended. Not going to say free of charge because I now better. Nothing is free. We will pay at some point. If you were registered prior to the reimplementation, your new start date goes along with when the program started up again. But don’t trust what you hear, check the details on your own.

If you note on your registration page, you can either download or have the cert e-mailed. I opted for e-mail, and received the new cert w/the 2020 expiration w/in one minute.
