I'll second @Planter on his recommendation of RemotePilot101.com. Yes, they're running a special, but it's been going for quite a while. The course took around a week to complete, I took the final, and they guided me to register for the actual test. I took the test about a week later (had to wait because the gov't was shut down), and passed easily.
