"Requiring first responders to physically handle a small unmanned aircraft to obtain the registration number poses an unnecessary safety and security risk to those individuals, as well as to others in the immediate proximity to the aircraft, because of the potential for the unmanned aircraft to conceal an explosive device in an enclosed compartment (such as the battery compartment), designed to detonate upon opening."

There's a 99.999% chance someone using a sUAS concealing an explosive device didn't register the thing!

If the FAA gets any more paranoid they will have to call out the bomb squad to get the registration number! LEO's routinely search vehicles and buildings, but are afraid to touch a UAV?
