Can you use false location app on a mini to use fcc
No had this on mavic air your your home point will always be were you take of YouTube false location appWould this not set your homepoint to somewhere far far away?
There is a app called false location and gives you option of fcc had it on my air excellentHow do you plan to fool the GPS?
The drone has its own GPS position so if you were to update your home point using the app that would cause a problem? No had this on mavic air your your home point will always be were you take of YouTube false location app
Yes, but you can set the home point using the map, so the app must tell the drone the home point you have chosen. For the home point to work as advertised, it must be in the drone not the rc. The whole point is to allow the drone to come home when it looses connection with the rc and tablet
Ok, thanks for clarifyingNo, the phone doesn't need to have fake gps while you fly, just once if you follow the procedure. You can change the home point, but even though the drone ”knows” it is in a new territory it will not switch FCC in mid flight. It will only switch if it has conflicting gps data when motors are off AND phone+app is connected. So as long as you disconnect/close app and land manually AND start manually next time you take off the FCC will remain indefinitely.
The same would apply if you go to the US (or EU in US) fly normally (FCC would change before take off) land normally, go back to the EU (or US respectively), start up and take off w/o app or phone. Then you would still fly with the same FCC as before your flight home.
Faking the gps coordinates just makes it a lot cheaper …
When you turn on your drone it gives a warning your location has changed you just select cance .view YouTube false gps location appThe drone has its own GPS position so if you were to update your home point using the app that would cause a problem?
