Certainly looks like a drone. The speed may be an illusion because the drone is much closer to you than you think. If it were over the highway in would be the size of the cars and going about 600 MPH.

Looks like a drone to me but where did it start from? The video makes it look like it came from thin air, no starting point is visible considering that there's so much land prior to it viewable starting point. Scott, Great shooting! Thanks for sharing

At 1:27 you can see two white dots just to the left of the green street sign. Farthest one left is the drone. Stop it at 1;27 and it is easy to follow from there. The way it goes up from the highway proves it is closer then it appears.Screenshot 2022-11-25 at 2.34.57 PM.png

The object is much, much closer (and a lot smaller) than you imagine it to be.

Aside from the fact that in places it looks like a drone, Spark? (white body, dark arms), how on earth would anyone 'just happen' to pan at the moment something unexpected did a fly by?
I doubt there would be the slightest chance of spotting that object on a phone screen nor any chance of reacting to it in time to follow-it/pan-with-it if it were unexpected i.e. I would suspect this is a fly by co ordinated between two pilots.

I did not see this until after i processed the video completely was watching it on my 20" computer monitor. I used powerdirector to go back with the original video file and used the zoom crop and pan function of the software to process it the second time around. there was no coordination between two pilots hehehehe. although i do believe there was another pilot close because i lost connection to my controller 5 times in 20 min.

It's been far too long - the forum was definitely overdue for a small, very close, airborne seed or similar drifting in the wind to be mistaken for a more distant, larger and faster object. If you check the wind direction during the flight you will find it was exactly the direction of flight of the object.

If there was another flyer close enough to cause interference, you'd know because he would have been right beside you.

How far away and how large do you think the mystery object was?

i was approx. 150 - 200 yards away from the 4 lane. I think it was roughly over the 4 lane or just on the side of it between us. If i was to guess on size i would say somewhere between a gokart and a dji drone in the Mavic family.
