I have a mystery, maybe you folks can help solve.
- flew my Mavic Pro a lot yesterday.. took a ton of daytime photos
- then flew it at night -- made no changes to settings at all -- and took photos of the fireworks, looking down.
- (probably irrelevant) at some point the drone lost contact with the phone app ... I no longer had height or distance reading... or live camera view .. so I flew it back home manually.
When I got the card out of the drone and put all the RAW files on my PC...
- the daylight pics are fine
- the fireworks VIDEO is fine
- but the fireworks RAW IMAGES give an error when Lightroom tries opening them. It says "Lightroom has encountered problems reading this photo". Lightroom shows only a massively blown up version of the preview image.
Any ideas? Why would SOME of the image files be just-fine, and (other than darkness and explosions) the others be unreadable. Any suggestions on how to recover? One sample attached and here's more: Drone 4th - bad files
thx
