Today I received my new Mavic 2 Zoom to replace my Mavic (vanished into thin) Air. Before I fly it I'd like to make sure the firmware is up to date so downloaded the Assistant 2 for Mac. According to that software the firmware in my drone is at ....0200 and the latest is ...0400. I tried multiple times to upgrade and keep getting a network error part way through the process. I removed the Assistant software and redownloaded it and tried multiple times again with the same result. Then I went to my wife iMac, downloaded the assistant and tried 3 more times with the same result. I keep getting a network error process part way through the upgrade.

We have a 100mbps fiber optic network so I don't think the issue is on my end, How can get this drone updated?

Was your drone turned on and connected to your iMac? Any antivirus program that might need disabling? Have you contacted your ISP to ask why this might happen... ie signatures, etc.
My iMac worked flawlessly for this.

Yes I had it plugged into the computer and turned on. That's how I was able to determine that I was in need of an upgrade. And yes I had my virus protection turned off. I never had an issue doing firmware upgrades with my Mavic so doubt it's the ISP. In fact my neighbor has a M2Z, is with the same ISP and he doesn't have any issues either.

I just kept trying and after about 25 attempts it finally went all the way to 100%. Hope this isn't an omen, Controller updated on first try.

I always update stuff over wifi with my mobile device in controller and drone on - never ever had an issue
