It's good to just leave such things up (with the solution), if it's possibly something that can help others in future.
At the moment, this thread is useless and should simply be deleted by admin, or the OP can request a thread to be deleted if they feel it's not needed.

He was having an issue with inaccurate altitude measurements, relative to the Home Point zero setting. No idea what his "fix" was. I suspect it might have been due to not letting the barometer warm up properly before launching. We'll never know, unless he comes back to this thread.

Sorry guys I apologize I thought I removed this post before it had any views. The issue was with my son and his drone. When I tried to repeat the problem I couldn't. GagetGuy is probably correct. My son tries to get the drone in the air as fast as possible. I told him not to be so impatient especially with satellites and updating the home point. I think the issue helped to drive it home. So I guess the solution was patience.
