So true. I live in cattle country, Nebraska, where we have four times as many cows as people and find that hilarious

If the world is flat I think one of the flat-Earthers needs to travel to the edge and take a picture of it.

Actually it was Eritosthenes that measured the size of the round Earth by using the Sun angle at a remote location when the Sun was directly overhead a well. The basic assumption was that the Sun was far enough away that the rays striking the Earth were close enough to parallel that the error would be insignificant. The irony is that if the Sun were only 4000 miles above the surface of a flat Earth, he would have obtained exactly the same results. Just sayin'

It's easier than that... You can see the moon with your naked eyes. Now, point a telescope - heck, the best telescope ever - in the direction of Mt. Everest, which is ridiculously closer ~ and show me...
