some flight modes are firmware specific so may not work even though they appear in the app.

So, that's a problem

I've tried so many times to update firmware and I can't! Wifi, assistant 2, PC, etc, etc even with microsoft drivers disabled and still can't manage to do that.

Upgrading is a pain, does the Mavic show as a DJI USB device in device manager ?

Try different cables

Try refreshing the current firmware
