Florida Key Islands/Key West Flying

I was wondering if anyone has any experiences flying in Florida’s key islands or more specifically in Key West. The only thing I see is flight within 5 miles of the airport, but I plan on calling and making a flight plan the day of in Key West. I plan on filming an engagement on one of the many beaches by the ocean.
