Fly app stops on startup since Android security update 2024-11

Hello,

So far I have been able to fly perfectly with my Android 14 Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ FE, with the Fly App 13.10.
Since the last security update (One UI version 6.1.1, security patch level from November 1, 2024), the Fly App no longer starts.

So I installed the latest version 1.15.8 ("This app was created for an older Android...", but installed it anyway and Play Protect was disabled).

However, when starting the app stops, see screenshot.

I tried that without success?
Location, WiFi on/off
Deleted cache and data x times, installed several 14 and 15 versions
Granted all permissions for the app (always allow location)
Battery usage not restricted
Restarted the tab
Permissions for unused app off

Does anyone have a tip?

Hello, Here is a supplement.

Mini4 Pro FW: 01.00.0800, RC-N2 FW: 01.01.0300

When the drone and RC-N2 are connected and the Fly app is started, the start screen appears briefly (see screenshot #1) and immediately switches to the flight screen. When you go back, the start screen appears (see screenshot #1) and is blocked, no further selection is possible, no access to the profile, no return to the flight screen.

Hello,

The solution, installation with "Play Protect" deactivated (this is probably only necessary from Android 14 with newer security updates).
Start the Fly app, confirm the queries, then click on the white line several times if necessary (see screenshots), the Academy window opens, then continue, then OK and the usual Fly app screen opens. Then activate "Play Protect" again.

Had exactly the same happen a few months ago. The only way I found to get both FLY and GO4 working again was to do a factory reset on the phone/tablet and re-install older, archived versions of the DJI flight apps. This got me up and running again and so far... (touch wood)... no problems.
