Flying a Condominium

So I've recently piqued the interest of the owner of a Condominium building. They are wanting to talk to me about providing them footage for promotional purposes.

Thier target market is older folks, so I'm not sure how marketable drone videography is for them.

I've flown residential and construction. I've never been asked to fly an entire condo building.

I DO HAVE my 107.

I'm mainly looking for pricing advice. I've yet to see the building.

I would usually charge between $300-$500 for a 4K video edited. That's for one house, about 2 minutes long. So now here's a condominium with maybe 50 units at $250k each...

My thoughts were around $1,000 but then that seems crazy high, no wait, low, high, low... Uhhhh... I don't know!

How much time will you have invested flying/acquiring data?

How much time will you spend editing etc per unit?

How much does it cost you to work per hour?

How much do you need to profit per hour?

Add all the above up and you'll have your final price.

Unscientifically, I think your $1,000 is a fair minimum. You’ll need to see the building, study the location, and get a better idea of what the customer wants. It could be anywhere from $1,000 to $2,000. You’ll have a better insight after the inspection and conversation.
