Flying around Jim Thorpe Pa.

Has anyone done any flying around Jim Thorpe Pa.? I've been to Jim Thorpe numerous times and it is a beautiful ares in the Lehigh river gorge. The area has been called the Switzerland of America.

Good question! The regulations in PA do not seem to be great for us. At least from the state park side of things. Jim Thorpe would be great. There's something called the Grand Canyon of PA as well. Could be a good place. Not sure of the flying restrictions though.

I've flown downtown Jim Thorpe and Glen onoko trails and waterfalls about 2 years ago. I heard they closed the waterfall trail down now.

Yep I would love to fly at Penns Peak. That’s a beautiful view and area

I did a flight at the "100-mile view" a couple years ago. Great views especially in the fall.
