Flying in Anaheim

Do you have Or have you filed for permission and a background check from the Federal Government?
That is step one depending on how close we are talking MOST if not all of the city Falls under the Disney Land TFR that is not actually temporary but forever! You can call the City Offices and they can provide you with a map of good to fly places there (There aint many) and if its really close to the park (Within a few Miles) Forget it! Unless you have a long time to wait. for all the paperwork to come thru. If it is on Disney owned Property the answer is NO.
BUT its the happiest place on Earth!

Could you just apply to FAA through DroneZone?

If you are flying within 3.5 miles of the Park you have to be vetted by the TSA. The flight restrictions above the park are the same as the White house! Only emergency helicopters are allowed in the zone Not even aircraft are allowed.. If farther away then its just like normal However Anaheim is pretty much a total no fly zone for recreational pilots! Commercial pilots need permission from the Anaheim authorities to do Part 107 in Anaheim. Not easy unless you just doing real estate wok.
