Flying in winter: things to watch out for?

Nice shots especially the first one. Did you use an ND filter to slow the shutter speed to get the water blur?

Thank you, but no. I just used 100 iso and aperture 11 to get a shutter speed of I think 1 1/2 seconds or so.
The days are very short here in Iceland at the moment anyways.
