Flying in winter: things to watch out for?

Nice shots especially the first one. Did you use an ND filter to slow the shutter speed to get the water blur?

Thank you, but no. I just used 100 iso and aperture 11 to get a shutter speed of I think 1 1/2 seconds or so.
The days are very short here in Iceland at the moment anyways.

I want to get some winter videos. I am concerned about the lens fogging up when going from very cold outdoors to warm house, like my hunting rifle sweats going from cold to warm. I am going to keep my drone stored in the garage where it is just a few degrees warmer than outdoors. I will keep my batteries in the warm house and keep them warm outdoors. And only fly on sunny crisp days. Does that make sense?

Consider putting the drone and controller into a one- or two-gallon zipper bag before bringing it inside. Leave it there until it warms to room temperature.

The problem is the greater amount of water vapor in the warm inside air compared to the cold outdoor air. The bag blocks the water vapor from being cooled by the drone and condensing into liquid.
