Howdy rich5354, as @Turnerm stated get you munchies of choice and you could do a search for "fly water" but let me save you the trouble. What's the best settings for flying over water with Mavic Pro.
Excellent advice. Sometimes though you need to get down lower due to the tree canopy. Most of the creeks around me seem to have trees that crouch down about 8ish feet off the water and even lower in some spots. Makes for some beautiful scenes but not the most drone friendly flying ever!!I fly over water alot and stay about 10' up and have found if I tilt my camera down just a bit it looks like I'm almost right on it and like Turnerm said also .
That can happen only if you will pull the throttle stick fully back for seconds.Turn landing protection off. Otherwise it may initiate an auto landing. I had a near miss because I did not know about this.
