For the 107 Memebers - DroneZone Air Space Authorization Questions

Did my first DroneZone Authorization request and have a couple of questions that I posted on the CommercialDrone Pilots forum.

When you apply via DroneZone you’ll get an email from FAA with approval or denial likely within a couple of days. If you apply for long term clearance (up to 2 years) for an area that took me about a week or so to receive.

Seems like military fields have additional requirements that I haven't seen on my civilian airspace authorizations. Everything seems pretty reasonable, except maybe the 2-way radio requirement. (depending on terrain, I think a handheld air-band radio might not even have enough power to transmit back to the tower if you are several miles away, although you should be able to hear them) Also I'm not sure you are legal to transmit on the air-band outside of an aircraft without a separate FCC ground-station license anyway.
