Found a Used Mini 4 Pro: Questions I should ask?

On second thought, the Sony Z8 he is also selling for $870 lists for $3500!
50% off list is unlikely but possible, but not 75%!
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Having said that, I saw a guy offering two motorcycles once, for free.
Want to see pictures of them in my driveway?!

HA!
No.
I have titles.
One of the bikes only has 850 miles on it. I put 100 of those on myself.
There must be a story behind his desire to give them away. Please share.
Last one I heard, the widow/executrix was selling her deceased husband's Cadillac, with the proceeds to go to his mistress! LOL!

Since you asked.
I was in the right place at the right time.

There's a guy, who lives in Hawaii.
He had some money. He wanted certain "favors" of the carnal kind...
Kidding.
The guy exists. The carnal favors do not.
He had a friend from the military. They were great buddies and they had both had a dream of getting back to the states and doing a coast to coast ride.
Well, the other guy ended up getting cancer of the terminal kind and had a bucket list. The cross country ride was on the bucket list.
So the Hawaii guy bought two bikes. One was almost new. Less than 500 miles on it. A 2015 Honda Shadow Phantom. The other bike a 2006 Honda VTX1300. I don't know what he paid for the Phantom but the VTX was $5500.
He paid for all the gear for a cross country trip and they set a date.
The guy with cancer had less time than he thought and couldn't do the ride. Shortly later he passed away.
This was almost 10 years ago.
The bikes went into storage with fresh fluids and full tanks.
A couple years later, the people who had the storage had to move and the bikes were moved to the Hawaii guys aunts house and they sat in the garage.
Hawaii guy decided he was never coming back to the mainland. EVER. And he didn't need the money from the bikes. He felt guilty about keeping his aunts garage occupied by the bikes and asked for someone to remove them. The instructions were simple.
Keep them, sell them, scrap them. He didn't care.
And I happened to be in the right place at the right time.
I had them towed to my house and assessed them. The VTX gas had spoiled. The tank was surface rusted inside. The internal filter had dissolved.
The Phantom gas still smelled fresh like it was put in a week ago.
I put a new battery in the phantom and thought I can't win if I don't play. I hit the starter and it fired before it had made a full revolution. It idled like it was new on the showroom floor.
I aired up the tires and now it has over 100 miles on it that it didn't have before.

Awesome! Just showing up and being in the right place at the right time is the key to success! Now we just need a guy with a couple of Mavic 4 Pro Creator Kits to unload, no questions asked! LOL!
