I'm really beginning to appreciate the free panorama mode on the Mavic 4 Pro. It's very quick and easy to use. Here are a few quick snapshots from a nearby saltmarsh yesterday, about 35 minutes before sunset. These are auto mode jpg files straight from the camera with no editing other than reducing the file size by 50% to allow them to upload. I did bias the exposure down a bit on each.

Normal photo, exposure biased -0.3 stop

Takes good jpg panos. Personally, I only do manual panos in RAW 3-exposure brackets, edited in LR, pano in PS and back to LR for crop and export.

That's definitely the route to take to maximize the quality of the images. It's amazing what these little machines and some good editing can produce.

But oftentimes, a "quick snapshot" is just the thing and provides more than adequate image quality. That evening was one of those times. I used the avoided editing time to mix and enjoy a really good Manhattan with a good rye before dinner.

Yes, it’s quite remarkable what comes straight out of these cameras. I spent a solid week editing 2,000 photos from 2 weeks in Sicily and a few days making the drone video. I needed a drink every day.

If you're using PS to merge to pano, why not just crop and export from there? I use PS for everything except Camera Raw.
