Hi all. New too this group and drones. Jumped in with a MM and gotta say happy so far. My question is do people just leave the frequency in auto or do you Manually choose a channel? I've noticed choosing a channel can change frequency been 2.4/5.8 here in England. Am I better picking a channel that is taller and green myself? Thanks

As far as I know, you should pick green and lower bars (lower bar means less populated, thus less chance of interference).

Above link explains the procedure for the Spark, there are videos explainig the same procedure for the Air, but either way, it works the same.

OK good to know, thanks for reply I would have been choosing the worse channels for flying lol. Do you Manually choose a channel?

i would leave it on the auto setting it will choose the best channel available, it is only really an issue in a very high WIFI enviroment such as a highly populated area

That's basically me. I fly from home and have surrounding housing estates so assume there is a lot of WiFi activity
