Fully manual landing

On descend to landing, the aircraft sort of stops and hesitates for like 5-10 sec, despite continued downward stick command, then apparently lands itself.
How can i disable this feature and make it fully manual?

It is a safetyprecaution to avoid unintended groundcontact. Since the landing itself is unspectacular in my videos, I simply edit it out.

If the downward looking sensors on the underside of the Mavic are not 100% happy with the surface it's over, then it will hesitate and prompt you to take it down. It will even do this for Return To Home (RTH) auto-landings. It is a feature that you need - rather than one to override. It's also useful to blow the rubbish out of the way before touchdown.

Just remember that without landing protection it will be more than happy to slam into the ground, if that is what you are directing it to do.
