FYI Lightroom does not import all video files for MA2

I am primarily a photographer so use Lightroom to import and manage my files. I noticed that not all video files are imported via lightroom. Don't ignore the dialog that pops up at the end of the import. I have to go in manually and copy the files outside lightroom.

Lightroom Classic on Windows does not support H.265 (aka HEVC) videos. Yes, that's right, the software we pay every month to maintain and improve has no support for H.265, more than two years after the iPhone started using it as its default video format (not to mention our drones and many other devices these days).

You can shoot 4K 30fps in H.264 on the MA2.

H.265 files from DJI can be problematic in a number of applications. Unless you absolutely need the smallest file, use the H.264 codec instead.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure 4k 60fps only uses H.265.

I am pleased to report that today's update to Lightroom Classic (9.3) supports HEVC video on Windows. Finally.
