Get power out of the mavic mini for attachment ( LED )

Not sure it can be done via that, it is data only I would think.
There is a way to get power, some of the after market releases use a switch and the power from one led front arm lights on drones.
But what are you wanting to drain power from the mini for ?
Even though a tiny power draw (depends what you're doing though, single led for VLOS, or much more needed ?) taking power away from the mini flight time seems detrimental overall, especially seeing as they have 'insufficient power' problems at times.
The stand alone strobes (some of which can be set to permanent on) that have their own little rechargeable lipos are pretty easy to use, and last 2 hrs for some, 6 hours for others.

Using a Flytron Strobon strobe, I super-glued one of those micro usb tips that comes with the quick attach cables for android phones etc. It does not seem to affect compass. Can calibrate as normal. The bonus is its lightweight and can be removed without leaving anything on the drone like...mavicpilots.com
That is just to hold it though, yeah ?

I remember your thread, and thought great idea, if the micro usb port holds it very securely.
The only other drawback I saw was the repeated plugging and unplugging, thos ports can get damaged / sloppy over time.
