Getting new remote controller

Hello

I suspect my controller won't turn on due to water damage from rain and getting a new one is 1/4 of the price of the fly more.

Question is if i buy a new standard mavic air (not the fly more), will the new controller COMPATIBLE with the old drone?

'Fly More' is just the name given to the package of content (extra batteries, multi charger, bag etc), the Mavic Air is the same.
