Gimbal broken?

Flew my M2P today over an alpine lake surrounded by tall peaks.

I tried to pan Up the camera to show the peaks of one mountain using my iPhone screen — long touch swipe up — and it would go up and then it would swivel down on its own repeatedly.

has anyone seen someth8ng like this?

There is discussion, in another thread, of the gimbal's upward tilt being reduced when the drone moves forward, would that coincide with your observations?

I was moving, probably forward.

Never had this problem before.

The peaks rose so steeply that maybe I really tried to push it up as high as it could go.
