Gimbal cover cracked on new MP

I've seen photos showing glare from flying with the gimbal cover, but never anything about damage from excessive heat build up. Got any links you can point us to with more information about that problem?

I actually used a digital infrared thermometer to check for “over heating problems “ with the bubble on while flying, and then without. Temps were negligible. I checked temps on the camera, and then the base. Unless I’m checking the wrong area?
It did give a lot of glare filming though.

Ok, so I also need a new gimbal cover but the part at the link you posted to Amazon is now listed at $79. Can you recommend a less expensive cover?

Mine arrived broken as well; sealed package. I contacted DJI in November. They said a new cover was on the way. It arrived in March. The camera was fine.
