Hi Fellow Pilots
This is regarding a recent crash that I had with my DJI Mavic pro drone. I was flying it in the mountains and was trying to capture the tree line but made a little mistake of facing my drone away from the trees which in turn did not give me any warning and crashed into a tree and fell from approx. 30 feet (my assumption).
Finally when I managed to find my drone after a 1 hour trek I found that the wings were shattered (obviously) and the gimbal was hanging by the wires since the plate that it’s connected to was also damaged and is not present in the unit. The camera is not working now and the gimbal lens is also broken.
Any suggestions about how and what to get repaired and is this repair even possible ?

Unfortunately that looks like a substantial replacement (and maybe total loss). Beyond the mechanical damage that may require a new body/mount, there appears to be internal (electrical) damage.

Appreciate your prompt reply. :) Do you know someone who can help me with this ? And what would be the approximate cost of getting these parts ? Should I procure it myself from DJI ? This is the first time I got into such a situation apologies for asking so many questions !

If you decide to sell for parts, let me know as I would be interested. Simply message back for information.

We use to repair gimbals...although some we were able to revive, issue was we got many complaints being it could take hrs to diagnose disassemble replace parts than reassemble and it may not even work. So if my tech puts in 1-3 hrs of labor @ 60 per hr +whatever parts are needed usually costs more than a new gimbal which is a fairly easy procedure. However if your A DIY guy than feel free to start purchasing yaw motor arms, gimbal boards, Vibration boards flex cables & cameras, see what it takes to make it come alive. More of a hobby thing if you have time but not really cost effective...

Hope this helps

Well that gave a good picture about what to expect and how move forward from this point. I think I will try and figure it out a little bit myself and see what all I need to purchase to get it fixed.
