Gimbal is not responding to the controller , any ideas. new mavic air

I tried the ipad and the iphone and the gimbal on the remote will not move the gimbal. Do i need and exchange ?

Can you see what the camera sees, on your ipad or iphone ? Is the controller connecting (green light on the controller).

Yes the camera and video is working fine , just the scroll dial on the controller does not work, I might have to ask DJI for an exchange.

Sadly, sounds like an issue DJI has to address.

Maybe one more thing, possibly do a gimbal calibration, see if that helps.

Yes,i have had the exact same problem with my new Mavi Air. I’m now waitng for an addressing label to be sent to me by DJI so i can return it and have it fixed. I couldnt find an alternative solution

I got the letter today from them asking for the serial and such,,, its going to be a long wait , close to 30 days i am thinking as that it what I had to wait last year on my phantom 4 Pro . This is where it pays to have another drone as back up.
