gimbal slide slosh solutions?

Lately the horizon tilt when sliding has become more pronounced.
Thing is it wont right itself unless nudged in the other direction, so the entire shot is ruined.
This is in P-mode also. Sport mode it goes off the chart

any tips welcome. Bad props maybe? anything that might help
im currently fiddling with the EXP, Sensitivity, etc to try and give the gimbal a better chance at doing it's
job
