Go4 vs Assistant

I noticed on the "new firmware release" thread that a lot of people use Assistant to do their upgrades. what is the difference/advantage between the two? I did my update with Go4 and it only took about 8 min start to finish.

Many of us get problems where Go claims it lost network as it retrieves the firmware. That might be more often with Android.
Otherwise Go would seem more convenient.
