Hi Guys,
Just joined and first post.
I'm an utter beginner despite what the next bit of information may imply lol.
I currently have a Mavic 3 Classic, Air 3, and two Air 2s models. I haven't flown much more than take off then left & right a bit with the Mavic Classic. I have someone offering me some DJI Goggles 3, as brief as my understanding of them is they do sound fun, but I'm getting conflicting information on the Internet in regards to their compatibility, so I just thought I'd find a forum with experienced people and get a definitive answer. Will the Goggles operate as intended with any of the above mentioned drones, and if they do, how often do any of you actually use them, are they worth it? Thanks

Those will work with your mavic 3 and in the future the air 3S but not the air 2s.
I use goggles almost exclusively to fly but I also FPV freestyle using goggles with a camera Drone is OK but to take advantage of them get a sportier drone.

Hey, thanks for getting back. I did try linking up the Air3 and Goggles last night but something froze during the firmware update and it was too late in the evening for me to consider carrying on with it. I will try again after work today. Everywhere local to me is pretty crowded so I'm looking forward to getting out in the open soon to try this out. Will update later.
Thanks

As far as I know, the goggles 3 are only compatible with the Avata 2 and the Mini 4 Pro, at least right out of the box. I think you “could” use them with some of the DJI cameras too.

Possibly why it appeared to show them as "connectable" in the DJIfly app but then had connectivity issues when I tried linking them. Not too sure right now as the Air 3 and Goggles were both firmware updating at the same time then both seemed to have problems following it. Im yet to have a look at it again since I've been home.

Just trying the connect again with the Air3. It gives me the Air3 as an option when I begin to link them and it's doing a Goggles Firmware update for it, so thats good news atleast. Providing all works as it should I'll probably keep them based on other people's reviews.

Nope, somethings still freezing me out when I try to install the firmware update. Only thing online which i can find which may be causing it is I'm setting it up first time and connecting the unit to my mobile usb-c to usb-c, whereas I'm reading posts saying I should use the "OTG usb-c" cable which comes with it, which i don't appear to have lol. All I get is a focus adjustment and video on a 57sec loop when I power them on right now.

I noticed yesterday that there’s a firmware update for the RC2, but as of yet I haven’t updated.

sorry yes I stand corrected the classic will not work but an update for the air 3s isnt far down the line
