I started RCing many years ago with a gas helicopter. Piloting todays modern quadcopters is a cake walk compared balancing a 9 or 10 pound machine on a bubble of air with no GPS or computer assistance. Needless to say crashes and hours of repair was a common thing, not to mention the cost and time involved.
Less then a year ago I received a toy quad as a gift. You know the kind, about $60 at the mall, double A batterys for the remote. If your lucky 8 minutes of fly time. It only took 1 flight at the park to to ignite the flame for flying I had a long time ago. I quickly moved to a P3S. Basically I moded the heck out of it and pushed to its limit. Flying the Mavic Pro( I call it the bird) now for about 3 months. Simply put.... This thing is just to much fun!!!!!!
