Google maps missing

Hi there. I just got my RC PRO, and i am missing google maps in the buttom left. I have the square, but no landscape info. I often use it to rth in a straight line. What am i doing wrong? how to get the map back ?

I dont know if it is THE solution or just a coincidence, but i installed google maps via apkpure...en then i had the little map in the fly app again

When I connected to wifi it automaticly downloaded the maps for the area i was in

I don’t have the map in the lower left corner either. I did download Google Maps but I haven’t tried it out yet. But I looked at my Smart Controller which does not have Google Maps and the map was in the lower left corner.
Has anyone found any help from DJI on this?

Are you connected to a WiFi source when you are using it?

So, you don't need any of the Google Play services? Just the maps apk?

Yes but it shouldn’t make a difference at least it doesn’t on my Smart Controller
