Nice, thank you for sharing.
What did you use to record the fireworks sound and sync it?
Awesome. I was wondering how you captured the sound so perfect. Last night I did not leave our home since we can usually see several fireworks but a lot more sound from a nearby seaside resort area opposite to our ocean view. less than a mile from our home . I ended up doing my first night flight on my mavic 4 pro, flew at 393' and captured great fireworks display from the resort area; the 6x and 2.5x zoom lenses were more than adequate to capture the action despite the distance, however I was missing the sound. In hindsight I should have used my R0DE mics to capture the sound however being still on my old windows 7 desktop, I have no way to mix the sounds. I'm waiting to get the new Apple Mac Pro when its available (I'll use it for AI) later this year; then I'll be fully equipped; until then I'm stuck to audio-less videos.I was mic'ed up on the beach while shooting to give the presentation a more realistic feel.
Thank God for background noise right?Awesome. I was wondering how you captured the sound so perfect. Was 4k 60. Wouldn't have mattered with the low visibility haze & smoke. Honestly I didn't think it would ever even look this good.Could you have used higher resolution?
I'm not sure if its great, I'm no expert and the attached video is probably boring without sound for anyone; only added as a response to your question.Thank God for background noise right?
I'm sure you're 4 Pro footage looked fantastic.
I couldn't wait for them to come out so I could trade in 3 Pro but with DJI not selling here in the states I was concerned that the firmware may not operate properly and they may not provide any warranty from bootlegs off of Adorama. I was also bummed that that it came with 28mm focal length with no wide angle option. 28mm is not ideal for RE photography.
Soooo, I guess I'll wait for now to see how things unfold with regard to buying one. I shot this with Air 3s @ 3x. Air was soupy and smoky but I think it did a decent job for this specific purpose.
