Great landing pad

Just curious, would you guys still use a landing pad if you were comfortable with hand takeoffs/landings?

Id def use a landing pad for the mavic regardless since its so close to the ground,all kinds of particles dust and sand can get in that gimbals from the prop wash.

For around £10 (delivered), you can get a foldable, rubber landing mat with distinct pattern that will help the Mavic 'precision landing' capabilities. Whilst also protecting the motors from dirt / sand, etc. If you've spent £1,000+ on the drone, why muck about trying to save a tenner? I have one of these (see below) and my Mavic arrives today. Will let you know if it works as hoped.
