Hello Folks,

I am taking a Christmas cruise in the Caribbean. I would like to get some pointers from experienced pilots. I know I can't fly in Belize and checked the local laws where I will be visiting. I am sure there is much I can learn from you all!

Thanks for reading my post,
Julien

Welcome to Mavic Pilots .
I hope you will find our site helpful and look forward to any input , photo's/video's you might post .
Don't be shy and ask anything if you can't find it by searching . Thumbswayup

I dont want to bust your bubble but some cruises lines don't allow drones on board.
Maybe putting it in the bottom of your bag and removing the props may work.
We had a cruise on Princess this past summer and they dont allow them. So I took my Tello and put in the bottom of the bag and had no problems.
Good luck

Thanks Driller

I had checked with the cruise line. For others that may use the search... Carnival Cruise Lines doesn't allow drones to be operated onboard. They are only allowed in port where local laws permit, as of this post date.

Some airlines have also some restrictions to carry your drone because of the batteries. KLM for example does not allow you to carry your drone even on the checked baggage. Double check with your airline too. Have a nice trip to the Caribbean.

I suggest you contact your cruse line before departing home. A lot of cruse lines use x-ray and tom middle or bottom doesn't matter.
IF you take it and they DON'T allow it they will not hold it for you and you could have a big problem.
