Hey Everyone!! Brand new, wet behind the ears member from VA Beach signing in. Just scored my Mavic Pro Fly More Bundle today and am in the process of paralysis by analysis. There's so much info to take in, I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions. I've been reading some of the basic do's & don'ts here on the site, but I'm always willing to learn from the seasoned vets. Yeeew!

Welcome. A few tips about beach flying. Try to keep any sand out of the Mavic, especially the motors and gimbal. Most people use a landing pad, but even then, sand can get it. Also, at the beach, you usually have a breeze blowing steadily from one direction. Try to make your outbound leg into the wind, so you can get back to where you started without any surprises.
